Agent and API
How an agent runs Manufacturing ERP: identity, permissions, the calls it makes, and what it may not do without a person.
The intended agent contract uses the configured application’s records and workflows under a separate identity. Its permissions follow the role matrix, and human decisions remain assigned to people. Obtain endpoint addresses and authentication details from your application’s documentation.
Teaching an agent the system
Use this specification to agree the records an agent may read or draft. After the application is configured, obtain its API documentation and any generated skill.md, then assign a service identity. Verify that identity against the enabled actions before connecting production data.

What it cannot do alone
The configured workflows must prevent an agent from approving its own drafts, authorising payments or releasing a quality hold. Approver signs the purchase and payment decisions; Quality Inspector signs quality release. Rehearsal must verify the audit record and refusal of unauthorised actions before the agent is allowed to write.
