How the model is organised

Accreditation cycles

Accreditation cycles references Organizations, People through Owner, and accreditation standards through Definition; state history retains source transitions.

Standards and source mappings

Accreditation standards belongs to Organizations. Source mappings.Definition references the standard, with Version, source field, target field and transform rule retaining the mapping context. Users holds account and role references.

Criterion evidence and documents

Criterion evidence.Parent references the cycle and source record id identifies the original observation. Evidence documents.Source references the cycle and verified by references People.

Independent review

Review decisions.Source references the cycle; source revision, Reviewer and Decision identify the exact reviewed revision and outcome.

Outcome delivery

Operation runs.Source references the cycle, operation steps.Run references its run, and execution attempts.Source references the cycle. Correlate runs and attempts by both Source and operation key; these text operation keys are not reference fields.

Corrections and follow-up

Follow up actions.Source references the cycle and assigned to references People. State history preserves from status, to status, Actor and source revision with the recorded time and reason.

Keys and references

The model contains 14 tables. Preserve original Id values and resolve references to those identities rather than matching display names. For Users, resolve the existing User reference and Email. A cycle’s Number and Name help people identify it, while Organization and Definition establish its operating context.

Keep criterion evidence.Quantity with Unit and observed on. Retain Description as the explanation of the observation. Evidence documents.Source links the file to its cycle. Use that cycle context when preparing imports and reports.

Match review decisions.Source and source revision, and operation runs.Source and source revision, to accreditation cycles.Id and Revision. A match on Source alone can mix revisions. Execution attempts has no source revision field: attribute an attempt to a revision only when Source and operation key resolve its matching run unambiguously; leave unmatched or ambiguous attempts unresolved. Preserve existing history during migration; do not invent past state history rows from a current status alone. Resolve operation steps.Run before associating any external receipt with the execution.

Migration order

  1. Establish Users access and load Organizations, then People with their organizational references.
  2. Load accreditation standards, then the reviewed source mappings against the correct Definition.
  3. Load accreditation cycles with their Organization, Owner and Definition resolved.
  4. Load criterion evidence, evidence documents and follow up actions with the intended cycle and person references.
  5. Preserve existing review decisions and state history with their source revisions; retain operation runs, then operation steps and execution attempts from authoritative execution history.
  6. Compare source records and references, inspect attachments and rehearse scoped access before opening the pilot cycle.
