How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Accreditation Management for your business. Start with an institutional accreditation cycle, its applicable standard, representative evidence and an independent reviewer. Rehearse a returned decision and a corrected delivered revision before expanding.
How do we select the applicable standard?
Administrator maintains the standard’s code, institution, policy reference and effective period. Accreditation Management Operator selects the intended standard for the cycle. Confirm the code and organization when similar names appear in different institutions.
How does criterion evidence stay connected to its source?
Each observation belongs to a cycle and retains its source record identifier. Use the description, observation date and quantity with its unit to explain what the source contributes. Supporting documents retain their own external reference and connect to the same cycle.
Who checks documents and who approves the cycle?
Accreditation Management Operator prepares supporting documents and records their verification under the named person. Accreditation Management Reviewer separately decides on the validated cycle revision. A verified document does not replace that independent decision.
Can the person preparing the cycle approve it?
The independent reviewer must differ from the person preparing the work. Agree reviewer assignments during setup and rehearse attempted self-approval with ordinary role accounts before the pilot begins.
What happens when a reviewer returns the evidence?
The decision retains its reason and evidence reference. Accreditation Management Operator uses that explanation to prepare the correction, and the reviewer examines the revision presented for a new decision. Preserve the earlier decision so the team can understand the change.
How do we know the outcome was delivered?
Inspect the cycle’s delivery reference and completion date alongside the operation trace. For a connected destination, retain its correlated receipt evidence. A queued action or an uncertain attempt still needs attention before the handoff is considered complete.
What happens if delivery has an unknown result?
Accreditation Management Operator investigates the original operation and provider references with the destination owner. Keep the uncertainty visible until the result is reconciled. Confirm what happened before requesting another delivery.
Can we correct an already delivered revision?
Use the documented correction process to preserve the earlier revision, evidence and decisions. The successor goes to independent review, with a compensating follow-up action when the previous delivery is superseded. Record the action’s owner and resolution.
How can the quality office compare progress?
Read Only Analyst can examine cycle status, evidence outcomes and delivery exceptions within authorized scope. Compare each cycle against its organization and standard, then inspect the actual decision and receipt before explaining its outcome.
