Pilot one Organization, its most active customers and a set of open quotes that run from draft through requirement review, pricing, pricing review and customer acceptance. Reconcile net amounts, review decisions and operation receipts before expanding.

What does a quote hold?

A quote holds the customer, the owner, the organization, a validity date, a revision, the price book revision used and the USD net amount. Its lines hold the product code, quantity, unit price, discount, unit cost and net line value. Aerospace requirements, review decisions, attachments and operation receipts sit against the same quote.

How is a line priced?

Pricing runs on a Draft quote. Each line’s net value is quantity times unit price minus discount, and the quote’s net amount is the sum of its lines. If any line or check fails, nothing is written and the reason is recorded on a Failed receipt.

Who approves a quote?

A Pricing Reviewer who is independent of the quote owner approves, rejects or returns the revision in review. The decision is stored with its source revision, reason and date. A decision on a stale revision or an expired quote is refused.

Where do part revision and certificate requirements go?

They go in an aerospace requirement against the quote, with the part revision, lot quantity, certificate type and required-by date. The requirement is submitted and decided by a Pricing Reviewer. Approving it does not change the quote’s price or status.

Can we quote in currencies other than USD?

Quote amounts and line prices are held in USD. Organizations carry their own currency, and the app keeps read-only effective exchange rates. Agree during setup how you present a quote in another currency to the customer.

What happens when a customer accepts after the validity date?

Acceptance is refused. An approved quote past its validity date is closed as Expired, and a new revision needs pricing and review before it can be accepted.

Does it create sales orders?

No. It hands an accepted quote to your order system through a connection you set up. Until that connection exists, the handoff receipt stays Pending and no order reference is recorded.

How do we correct an accepted quote?

Draft scope that has not been executed can be cancelled. For accepted scope, a Quote Specialist prepares a compensating action that a Pricing Reviewer approves before it runs. Earlier decisions, files and receipts stay on file.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work consume prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists the current rates.
