How the model is organised

Fields and Boundaries

Fields supplies the plot identity, area and availability. Field boundaries references Fields with geo JSON, survey date and area hectares.

Crop Cycles

Crop cycles references Fields and retains the crop, variety, stage and planting/harvest dates.

Field Work

Field tasks references Fields, crop cycles and team members. Team members.User references Users to connect the assigned person with an authenticated account.

Input Stocks and Usage

Input stocks retains lot identity, unit, balance and expiry. Input usage links the consumed quantity to input stocks and field tasks; the task provides the field and cycle path.

Agronomy and Applications

Agronomy evidence references Fields with dated measurements and notes. Input applications references Fields and team members through Applicator. Its input name is text rather than a stock-lot reference.

Harvest Deliveries

Crop deliveries references crop cycles and team members through accepted by. Quantity, Unit and quality grade retain the accepted harvest basis.

Keys and references

Preserve the Id values and actual references during migration. A field name or person name cannot replace a Field, Cycle or assigned to reference. Resolve team members.User to the real Users record; Users.User also carries a user reference. Field tasks.Field should agree with its linked crop cycles.Field before work proceeds. Keep input usage.Input attached to the correct lot when product names repeat.

Migration order

  1. Resolve Users and create team members with their authenticated account links.
  2. Load Fields with reviewed codes, names, areas and availability states.
  3. Attach field boundaries and crop cycles to the correct fields.
  4. Load input stocks with units, expiry dates and reconciled opening quantities.
  5. Create field tasks with valid field, cycle and assigned-team references.
  6. Import historical input usage only with an agreed stock reconciliation; avoid consuming the opening balance again.
  7. Attach agronomy evidence, input applications and crop deliveries with their dates and responsible-person references.
