Ground movement and service

Begin a confirmed movement and carry assigned service work through completion.

Step by step

  1. Open the confirmed movement Property Manager

Property Manager checks the trip and intended vehicle before starting work. Confirm that the customer, planned window and passenger count still describe the movement being performed. Resolve a changed request through the dispatch review before proceeding.

    • Verify current operating context
    • Updates Trips, Vehicles
  2. Start the trip Property Manager

Property Manager starts the confirmed movement and places the vehicle in Assigned. The start action records the intended draft charges and open service evidence. Check that every intended result has been saved before telling the next person the handoff is complete.

    • Begin movement and save intended work
    • Updates Trips, Vehicles, Trip charges, Delivery evidence
  3. Assign the service work Property Manager

Property Manager checks the task type, due time and staff assignment. The service evidence must point to the trip and vehicle involved in the work. Confirm that the assigned person can find the item in their service queue before handing it over.

    • Set the responsible staff member
    • Updates Delivery evidence, People
  4. Record progress and completion Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent opens the assigned item and records progress from Open through Assigned and In progress as the task proceeds. Mark finished work Completed and record its completion time. Leave unfinished work in its current working state for the next shift.

    • Record work state and completion time
    • Updates Delivery evidence
  5. Review vehicle readiness Property Manager

Property Manager reads the service outcome before deciding the vehicle's next readiness state. Unfinished cleaning or maintenance remains visible while Finance Officer prepares the trip reconciliation. A completed cleaning task still needs this fleet handoff before another dispatch.

    • Review service evidence and fleet state
    • Updates Delivery evidence, Vehicles

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • A service task is linked to the right trip but the wrong vehicle.
  • The assigned person uses a different account from the staff identity recorded during setup.
  • A start action saves only part of the expected work before the shift is told to continue.
  • Completed cleaning is confused with permission to dispatch the vehicle for a new movement.
