Keys and references
Preserve record identifiers during import. Transport number, driver code, vehicle code and facility Code help the team recognize business records, while reference fields connect the actual records. The assignment field Load points to Transports; keep that existing relationship even though the operating language is ambulance transport.
Use crew readiness checks.Vehicle as the vehicle reference. Vehicle legacy label remains historical text. Organizations and team members use their time zone select fields; keep time zone legacy separate. Resolve Users.User against the existing user records during account setup.
Keep review source revision, check Revision and receipt expected revision attached to their correct context. A decision requires crew readiness check even when Transport is also provided. Agree which record revision each action records in expected revision during setup, keeping transport and readiness-check revisions distinct.
Migration order
- Prepare Organizations and Users with the supported time-zone settings and identity references.
- Create team members with Organization and User resolved, then receiving facilities with organization ownership.
- Import Drivers and Vehicles, preserving eligibility evidence and external fleet ID. Load vehicle defects against their actual Vehicle references.
- Prepare Transports with Owner and receiving facility, then transport stops and transport assignments with their parent, driver and vehicle references.
- Add crew readiness checks, followed by genuine historical review decisions, record attachments and operation receipts. Preserve original revisions and dates; keep exchange rates read-only.
