How the model is organised

Production planning

Orders reference Parties as Customer, and order lines join Orders to Items. Work orders reference Product, Order and Resource, with planned quantity, dates and status.

Station routing

Station routes join a Product in Items to a Station in Resources and carry Sequence and target takt seconds.

Station passes

Station passes reference Resources through Station and carry unit serial, entered at, exited at and Disposition.

Material control

Material issues reference work orders and Items. Inventory balances reference Items and identify Location and lot number. Purchase orders reference supplier Parties, while purchase lines reference purchase orders and Items.

Production reporting

Production logs reference work orders and People. People reference Users, connecting operator identity to the user account.

Quality release

Batches reference work orders and record lot number, produced at, expiry date and Disposition. Accepted release connects the operating decision to finished inventory.

Keys and references

Preserve the existing record identities during migration. Use item code and lot number consistently when reconciling physical stock, and keep unit serial stable for station capture. Resources supply the shared station identity used by routes, passes and work orders.

Station passes link to Station, while production logs link to work order and Operator. Keep those reference paths distinct in reports and integrations. Configure any additional cross-record matching explicitly. Map People.User before enabling My Production Intervals so the current account resolves to the intended operator.

Migration order

  1. Establish Users and People with verified user links.
  2. Load Parties, Items and Resources, checking stable business identifiers.
  3. Load Orders with order lines and purchase orders with purchase lines.
  4. Prepare station routes and reconcile inventory balances by item, lot and location.
  5. Load work orders with valid product, order and resource references.
  6. Reconcile material issues and production logs before using migrated Batches or station passes in operating reviews.
