Electronics assembly teams
Electronics assembly teams need to explain where a serialized unit was handled and what happened at that station. Assembly Line Tracking gives Production Planner a product route with target takt and gives Production Operator a place to record station intervals and outcomes. Quality Reviewer can then discuss the station evidence alongside the good and scrap output reported for the work order.
How Assembly Line Tracking is set up for you
Bench sequence
Production Planner sets the product's path through the assembly stations. Use station names that the floor recognizes and review the sequence whenever the operating plan changes.
Serial movement
Production Operator records the serial at each station with entry, exit and a Pass, Rework or Reject disposition. A unit requiring attention remains visible in Rework Queue for the floor discussion.
Component consumption
Material issues identify the work order, item and lot. The posting action checks stock before consumption, while a reversal restores the corresponding balance when an issue needs correction.
Output acceptance
Quality Reviewer works from the Pending batch and the production evidence before releasing accepted finished output. The planner reconciles the finished balance and completed work afterward.

Assembly Line Tracking gives Production Planner a product route with target takt and gives Production Operator a place to record station intervals and outcomes. Quality Reviewer can then discuss the station evidence alongside the good and scrap output reported for the work order.
Begin with a familiar assembled product and its actual bench sequence. Prepare the component lot balances, an eligible customer order and a dated work order. Have an operator process a sample serial through the agreed capture procedure, including a Rework outcome that the next shift can identify from the record.
End the production interval with explicit good and scrap quantities, then rehearse accepted batch release. Check the physical lot against the pending output before the reviewer acts. If electrical test results or scanner input will support the process, establish those connections and their record-matching rules during implementation. Keep the initial review focused on route order, serial identity and the output that reaches finished stock.
