Systems to connect

Plan external order, capture and accounting connections around the app's record identities.

  • Assembly Line Tracking
  • Customer order intake
  • Barcode capture
  • Purchasing and stock
  • Test results
  • Financial accounting

Systems to connect

  • Customer order intake. Connect the order source used by the business if demand arrives elsewhere. Map customer and item identities and agree who approves an order before production release uses it.
  • Barcode capture. Connect scanners or floor-entry devices when they will supply unit serials. Rehearse duplicate submissions and time entry against the station-pass action before using the connection on a live line.
  • Purchasing and stock. If another system owns supplier receipts or opening stock, agree which quantities are imported and how item, lot and location identities reconcile. Check the balance before enabling material posting.
  • Test results. Connect the test or inspection system when Quality Reviewer uses its results for acceptance. Agree how the reviewer identifies the physical lot and the relevant result before releasing output.
  • Financial accounting. Connect the accounting destination if production and material movements need financial treatment. Agree reconciliation ownership and timing before sending operating movements onward.

How connections are governed

Admin and the responsible operating owner agree the source of each record and the permitted direction of updates. Start with a small pilot and reconcile accepted records and refusals. A repeated message should be checked against the existing business event before another posting is attempted. Keep external acknowledgements separate from the app’s local posting result, and give Production Planner a clear owner to contact when the quantities disagree.
