Check approved scope Inventory Clerk

Inventory Clerk identifies the Approved stock request, its item, lot and location context. Confirm the authorized quantity and the agreed sign convention before executing.

Post the stock effect Inventory Clerk

The approved action posts a signed movement and adds its signed quantity to the lot balance. A stable source effect key derived from the request protects against duplicate execution.

The request moves to Executed and the action writes a Recorded receipt. Inventory Clerk checks the receipt against the intended request and stock effect.

Reconcile the quantity Inventory Supervisor

Inventory Supervisor compares posted movements with the authorized quantity. Matching evidence supports verification; a mismatch produces a Failed receipt and leaves the request unchanged. Equivalent reconciliation retries use a stable request-derived operation key.

And how to keep it from happening.

Duplicate stock effect. A lost response should lead to an equivalent retry using the original effect identity. It must not become another quantity posting.
Wrong comparison basis. Agree how signed quantities and compensating movements enter the request comparison. Inspect the actual postings when the result is unclear.
Execution accepted without reconciliation. A Recorded receipt preserves an action result. Verification still needs evidence that the posted quantity matches the authorized work.
