Award program events
An award program can have a public ceremony, a private reception and a series of related sessions. Give each operating event its own date, venue, owner and capacity. Staff can then check the right parent event when they review registrations, reserve places or reconcile admissions. The program team keeps the event schedule and actual entry history together instead of relying on separate door lists.
How Award / Competition Mgmt is set up for you
Ceremony planning
Event Owner enters the proposed venue, operating window and capacity; Event Reviewer records a decision against the event revision.
Guest registration
Registration Coordinator collects requests and quantities, and the reviewer decides whether a submitted request can proceed.
Door operation
Admission Lead compares the approved request with the admission line, then records actual entry and check-in time.
Closeout
Finance Reviewer checks verified provider captures against admissions and investigates any receipt that still needs review.

Staff can then check the right parent event when they review registrations, reserve places or reconcile admissions. The program team keeps the event schedule and actual entry history together instead of relying on separate door lists.
Start with one ceremony event and one reception at the same organization. Use separate capacities if guests may attend one but not the other. Enter an active venue with a current contact and verify each event's time zone before staff send invitations. Rehearse a group registration that uses several places, a partial arrival and a cancellation. Give the admission desk a clear rule for repeated scans and for checking a provider receipt.
At the end of the ceremony, inspect actual admission quantities and provider evidence by event. A completed registration does not itself state how many people entered; use the admission history. Keep attachments and review reasons available to the team that handles later questions about venue changes, capacity or payments.
