Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • An accepted offer may have a changed start date. Check the employee hire date and task due dates before assigning work.
  • An application marked Hired while the offer is still Sent gives the team conflicting outcomes. Reconcile the response first.
  • Tasks with a category but no assignee can sit untouched. Give each receiving team a named owner.
  • A checklist marked Completed while tasks remain Blocked needs a review of what is truly done.
