How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Bank + Lending + Insurance for your business. Begin with a lending organization, a product and a representative borrower request. Rehearse independent review, a provider-confirmed release and a verified repayment before expanding the pilot.
What does the team prepare for review?
Credit Officer records the requested amount, purpose and term, selects the borrower and product, and gathers supporting documents. Independent Credit Approver examines the submitted revision with its evidence and records approved terms or a decline reason.
Who decides a lending application?
Independent Credit Approver decides the exact application revision through the authorized underwriting route. Configure the team’s approval policy and access during setup. Being able to read the review queue does not give a preparer authority to approve a request.
How does the insurance offer fit?
A bundled application connects the applicant, requested credit and insurance offer with the parent loan application. Independent Credit Approver reviews the submitted bundle revision. The lending provider’s decision and the insurance provider’s issuance decision remain separate outcomes followed through their agreed connections.
Does approval mean the loan is funded?
Funding follows the approved terms through the disbursement provider. The lending account records actual disbursed principal, and each tranche retains its amount and provider event. A held or unconfirmed release remains an exception until the team can verify the outcome.
How are repayments applied?
The servicing workflow imports verified receipts and allocates principal, interest and fee components to the repayment schedule. Combined allocations stay within the actual receipt. A partial or unapplied amount remains visible for investigation.
What happens if allocation is requested again?
The guarded route checks the schedule identity and blocks another allocation while an unreversed allocation exists. Rehearse repeated and page-triggered requests during setup. Agree the reviewed handling for later receipts or corrections without bypassing that guard.
Can the team change a repayment schedule?
Reviewed servicing changes retain their effective date, reason, recorded approver and prior schedule version. Agree who authorizes each change type and how it reaches the servicing workflow. Keep the earlier schedule and allocation evidence available when explaining the account position.
How are uncertain results investigated?
Reconciliation compares operation receipts with persisted effects and their identities. It records Completed when the expected effect is confirmed, or Needs review when it cannot be confirmed. The responsible person investigates before another instruction is attempted.
What should we bring to implementation?
Bring borrower and product records, the approval policy and examples of application evidence, booked facilities and receipts. Identify the funding, repayment and insurance provider contacts. Include a declined application, held disbursement and correction case in the implementation rehearsal.
