Keys and references

Preserve Id values and their references when migrating. Use storage locations.Code, stock items.SKU and the human request, movement, reservation and receipt numbers to help staff identify records. Names and codes do not replace record identities in relationships.

Stock requests.Revision and slotting plans.Revision belong to their respective records. Keep each review decisions record with its Parent request and recorded Revision. Stock movements.source effect key and operation receipts.operation key identify repeatable effects and operations. Users.User references Users and must be mapped carefully to platform identity.

Agree access to stock items and Loads during setup. Use storage locations.Organization and stock requests.Organization when defining access to related stock and evidence. Apply the agreed permissions to record actions as well as worklists.

Migration order

  1. Operating identity. Establish Organizations and Users, then map team members to their organization and platform account.
  2. Locations and items. Create storage locations and stock items with consistent location codes and base units.
  3. Opening stock. Reconcile stock lots with their items and locations before introducing reservations or posting new movements.
  4. Authorized work. Load stock requests, then linked slotting plans and stock reservations with preserved states and revisions.
  5. Physical handling context. Load Loads, load stops and handling units with valid item and location references.
  6. Historical evidence. Preserve stock movements, reversal links, review decisions, operation receipts and record attachments without re-executing historical effects.
