Keys and references
Most records carry Id; exchange rates uses ID. Donors.patient number, blood units.accession number and unit issues.lot number are operational identifiers to review during matching. Use the platform’s record references to retain the intended parent rather than assuming that a matching display name identifies the same donor or donation.
Users includes a self-reference through User. Inspect the account mapping before importing team members so Screener, Author, recorded by and assigned to identify the intended people. My Donor Follow-ups and My Unit Issues use that mapping to locate the signed-in team member’s records. Laboratory tests belongs to Donations; the reporting connection follows that reference.
Migration order
- Prepare Users and team members mappings, including the account references needed by the clinical team.
- Load Donors with the intended assigned screener references, then review identity matching.
- Load professional credentials, donor care assignments and donor consents with their effective dates and evidence attachments.
- Load Donations, then screening notes, laboratory tests, blood units, unit issues and processing charges against the resolved donation references.
- Load donor follow ups and Payments against Donors. Reconcile ownership, statuses and monetary amounts before opening the operating cycle.
- Review exchange rates as effective app data; agree any financial connection separately from donor and donation imports.
