Agree laboratory and financial handoffs before connecting external services.

  • Payment service

Systems to connect

  • Laboratory service. Set up a connection for test observations when results are produced outside the team. Agree donation matching, test type wording, measurement units and who records the result. Rehearse an uncertain match with the Licensed Clinician before accepting routine imports.
  • Accounting service. Set up the billing handoff for approved processing charges. Agree the service description and monetary basis, then define what confirmation the Clinical Coordinator needs before marking a charge Invoiced. Keep financial allocation and reconciliation with the accounting service.
  • Payment service. Set up receipt and refund confirmation for donor payment records. The Admin checks the external reference and amount before recording the outcome. Agree how repeated or uncertain messages are investigated before another entry is accepted.

How connections are governed

Name the person who handles an unmatched result or disputed payment message. Agree the direction of each handoff and the references used to identify the intended donor or donation. Review who can read consent documents and clinical notes before sharing any information with a service provider.

Rehearse an accepted message, an unmatched record and a repeated delivery with the responsible team. Keep the external outcome available to the person confirming the local state. The Clinical Reviewer retains the clinical decision, and the Clinical Coordinator retains responsibility for operational completion. Review these handoffs during implementation.
