Donor intake and screening

Prepare the donor visit and bring attributed screening evidence to review.

Step by step

    • Updates Donors, Donor consents
  2. Prepare the visit Clinical Coordinator

    • Updates Donations, Team members

ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Similar identities. A matching name can point the coordinator to the wrong donor. Confirm the donor number and birth date before preparing the visit.
  • Incomplete observations. A laboratory value without an understood unit creates a question for the reviewer. Resolve it before requesting the decision.
  • Unclear decision handoff. Agree how the reviewer communicates authorization and how the coordinator retains it before marking the donation Completed.
