Who can do what in Blood Bank Management

Give each person the access needed for their donor and donation responsibilities.

How permissions work

Clinical coordination

The Clinical Coordinator maintains donor identities and donation appointments, manages follow-up and consent work, and reviews processing charges. Payment outcomes are available for reading during operational follow-up.

Clinical documentation

The Licensed Clinician maintains screening notes, laboratory observations and blood unit records. Care assignments and professional evidence provide context for the work being performed.

Clinical review

The Clinical Reviewer reads the donation evidence and makes the review decision. The Clinical Coordinator records the resulting donation status after that decision under the agreed procedure.

Governance

The Clinical Governance Administrator maintains professional credentials, care assignments and team member records. Agree the access purpose and effective period before handing responsibility to a different screener.

Administration

Configure Admin access for account setup, controlled imports and payment maintenance. Review who needs this access before introducing the operating team.
