How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) for your business. Pilot one organization, one provider account and an instruction that your team can review through provider evidence and reconciliation.
Who prepares an instruction?
Finance Officer records the purpose, amount, counterparty, requested date and account scope, then assigns the work to a person.
Who decides whether an instruction can proceed?
Credit Reviewer records an independent decision against the current revision with a reason. Use a separate reviewer for the person who submitted the instruction.
When is a provider instruction confirmed?
Confirm it after verified provider confirmation or settlement evidence supports the outcome. A provider reference alone identifies the external case; it does not establish the final effect.
How does account opening relate to an instruction?
An account application links to a parent instruction and organization. It records the applicant, initial deposit and provider application reference as the request moves through its recorded statuses.
Where are provider balances kept?
Each dated account snapshot keeps provider ledger and available balances with a provider snapshot ID and linked financial account.
How are provider movements matched?
The reviewer checks the same financial account, exact amount and confirmed occurrence date. A different amount or date remains unmatched or becomes an exception.
What happens when an operation result is unclear?
Inspect its receipt, external reference and recorded effects. Keep a result needing review visible until the team can verify what actually occurred.
Can an auditor change an instruction?
Auditor reads authorized evidence and reports in a scoped, read-only view. Operational decisions and record changes remain with the responsible roles.
