- Treasury shared services
Treasury shared services
A shared treasury team may prepare instructions for multiple organizations while keeping authority and evidence within each organization. Finance officers own draft work, credit reviewers record independent decisions and auditors inspect the resulting trail. An administrator maintains membership without becoming the financial approver.
How BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) is set up for you
Instruction owner
A finance officer records the purpose, amount, organization, party and assigned person before requesting review.
Independent decision
A credit reviewer checks the current revision and records the reason for approval, rejection or return.
Provider trail
Provider references, evidence and dated account information keep the external outcome inspectable.
A shared treasury team may prepare instructions for multiple organizations while keeping authority and evidence within each organization. Finance officers own draft work, credit reviewers record independent decisions and auditors inspect the resulting trail. An administrator maintains membership without becoming the financial approver.
Use the organization, assigned person and party on each instruction to keep the case in the right operating scope. Attach supporting documents, record the review decision and preserve the revision. After submission, retain provider evidence and operation receipts. If a receipt needs review, inspect the local effects and source reference before treating the action as completed.
Agree how work is assigned across organizations and how a reviewer is chosen. Rehearse access with a finance officer, a separate credit reviewer and an auditor. Test a changed instruction revision and a provider correction so the team can show the original decision and evidence without overwriting the history.
The pilot should include a confirmed case and an exception. Ask the auditor to reconstruct the instruction from its decision, provider evidence and source movement. That exercise shows where the team needs a better handoff or a clearer provider reference before expanding the operating scope. See [implementation](/bnpl-buy-now-pay-later/implementation) for the setup sequence and [reconciliation](/bnpl-buy-now-pay-later/processes/reconciliation) for the final check.
