Production to quality release

Step by step

1. Release eligible work Production Planner

   Production Planner submits Draft work orders with positive planned quantity, an approved order, an available resource and feasible planned start and planned end. The release guard moves Draft to Released once. Check the intended assembly revision during the manual instruction handoff.

2. Start and issue Production Operator

   Production Operator records Released to In progress through the start action configured during setup. Production Operator identifies the item and lot on the material issue and enters a positive quantity. The issue workflow permits Released or In progress work and moves a Draft issue to Posted once. Stock maintenance remains a separately agreed routine.

3. Report the production interval Production Operator

   Production Operator records the operator, start and end dates, and good and scrap units on each production interval. The production guard requires In progress work, an existing planned quantity and nonnegative output, then moves the work order to Quality review once. Review the captured values before submission.

4. Release inspected output Quality Reviewer

   Quality Reviewer inspects the output and approves an eligible Pending batch linked to Quality review work. The quality workflow changes disposition to Released once. Agree who may choose Held or Rejected during setup; logged good units alone cannot authorize release.

5. Review completion separately Production Planner

   Production Planner checks remaining work and uses the completion update configured during setup to move the work order from Quality review to Completed when justified. Batch release does not automatically complete work orders. Resolve inspection evidence and any unfinished work before choosing completion.
