Inventory Clerk checks the item's lot, location and condition against the stock request. Examine expiry information and the intended quantity. Use the selected lot consistently when reviewing the existing commitments.
The reservation action checks eligible on-hand stock after active held reservations are deducted. Inventory Clerk follows the result for the requested quantity. A shortfall must remain visible instead of creating a hold that the lot cannot support.
A successful action creates the reservation and a Recorded receipt using its stable request-and-lot identity. A rejected action writes a Failed receipt with the shortfall. Inspect the outcome before interpreting another attempt as a new request.
Inventory Supervisor handles an authorized correction or cancellation. The action releases held reservations so free inventory reflects the revised commitment. Review the reservation outcome before the request moves into its next stock action.
