- Shared dining facilities
Shared dining facilities
Shared dining facilities need a reliable handoff between groups. A booking can be commercially complete while its dining area still needs cleaning or inspection. Keeping the meal account and readiness state connected helps the Property Manager understand which space can support the next eligible request and which staff member owns the remaining service work.
How Cafeteria Management System is set up for you
Area readiness
Follow Available, Occupied, Cleaning and Maintenance states using recognizable area numbers. Check the actual seating capacity before confirming the next group.
Service ownership
Assign each linked task to a named staff member and retain its due and completion dates. The task's progress supports the handoff to the reviewer.
Counter attribution
Keep counter bookings and charges with the selected meal booking so one group's activity cannot be confused with another group's account.
Separate receipt confirmation
A completed meal booking must not turn a pending payment into a confirmed receipt. Require the actual receipt evidence or an explicitly acknowledged outstanding balance.
Shared dining facilities need a reliable handoff between groups. A booking can be commercially complete while its dining area still needs cleaning or inspection. Keeping the meal account and readiness state connected helps the Property Manager understand which space can support the next eligible request and which staff member owns the remaining service work.
Choose a dining area used by successive groups and rehearse the interval boundary between their bookings. Confirm the first eligible request, record seating and follow its linked charges through review. Before closing service, explain the account using posted charges and confirmed receipts.
Move the area into Cleaning and assign the follow-up task. Test an inspection failure even after the task is marked Completed, then resolve the remaining work and authorize release after a passed inspection. Have the Property Manager inspect the updated area status before handling the next booking. Agree how staff identify their assignments and who investigates a counter charge attached to the wrong parent during the pilot.
