Get Started
Prepare your instruments, evidence and decision owners for a calibration rollout.
-
1
Start with the instruments you rely on
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Calibration Management for your business. Choose an instrument group with known custodians, defined measurement ranges and available calibration evidence. Preserve the existing identifiers used in inspection or test records.

2
Bring the technical decisions
Supply approved methods, decision rules, interval rationale and reference evidence. Name independent Metrology Reviewer and Quality Manager decision owners. Identify missing history and integration requirements before treating a populated register as permission to use equipment.
-
3
Bring the complete workflow together
Configure and test a calibration, a failed as-found result, historical impact review and a separate hold release in the intended workspace. Confirm denied actions, stale evidence and repeated imports before extending daily use. [Review the implementation approach](/calibration-management/implementation/) for the required evidence and rollout sequence.
