Calibration Technician confirms the instrument, approved method, competence evidence and reference eligibility. An unresolved reference scope or missing prerequisite prevents normal completion and remains visible as an exception.

Calibration Technician captures the required points before adjustment, with units, times, reference values and uncertainty evidence. Conditions relevant to the method are recorded alongside the measurement set.
Preserve the arriving conditionCalibration Technician records any adjustment and the required as-left observations. Original readings remain intact. A transcription correction appends a linked record with a reason rather than replacing the first observation.
Add final evidence without overwriting historyCalibration Technician assembles the evidence and submits the order and certificate. The coordinator can prepare an external provider's submission. Uploaded documents retain their issuer, date, version and digest, including explicit limitations where source data is absent.

An assistant cannot invent measurement results, uncertainty values or missing use history. It cannot approve its principal's own preparation, assert accreditation, release a held instrument or issue a product recall. Human decisions must use authenticated authority and the server-enforced controls specified for the application.
