Seasonal-stay operators
A property with changing demand can maintain dated rate plans by unit type and review them alongside each requested stay. The reservation holds the agreed nightly rate, arrival and departure, guest party and unit. This makes the rate decision visible after the guest checks in and when Finance Officer reviews the account.
How Campground / RV Park Mgmt is set up for you
Rate periods
Put start and end dates, nightly rates and minimum-night rules on rate plans. Keep unit type labels consistent with the bookable inventory.
Longer reservations
Review date ranges, capacity and other bookings before confirming a unit for an extended visit.
Service continuity
Keep maintenance and guest-service work linked to the active reservation throughout a longer stay, with an assigned person and due time.
Account review
Record dated charges and payments separately. Pending receipts remain distinct from confirmed money when a guest extends or departs.

This makes the rate decision visible after the guest checks in and when Finance Officer reviews the account.
Enter two rate periods for a unit type and rehearse a requested stay that crosses their boundary. Have Property Manager decide the rate offered to the guest and record it on the reservation. Check that a later amendment to rate plans does not obscure the amount previously agreed on that stay. Then add a maintenance task during the visit and confirm it remains attached to the same reservation after completion.
A longer stay can have more service and charge entries than a short visit. Give Finance Officer a regular account review point so draft items do not wait until checkout. Agree the procedure for date changes before staff amend a confirmed reservation: a new departure date can affect future availability and the rate period. Review the unit's condition when the guest finally leaves, since cleaning may delay the next arrival.
