Departure and review

Close the guest stay while keeping account review and unit cleaning visible.

Step by step

  1. Review charges Operations Reviewer

Before departure, Operations Reviewer examines disputed or unusual draft charge evidence and Finance Officer records the approved financial outcome. A charge marked posted affects the guest account; a voided charge remains visible as a correction.

    • Resolve draft, posted or voided charge status.
    • Updates Folio charges, Utility charges, Reservations
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  2. Close departure Finance Officer

Finance Officer compares posted charges with confirmed payment records or explicitly acknowledges an outstanding account. Property Manager then records the reservation as checked out and changes the unit from occupied to cleaning. A pending payment remains pending until its separate confirmation occurs.

    • Review confirmed receipts, mark checkout and move unit to cleaning.
    • Updates Payments, Reservations, Units
  3. Complete service work Property Manager

Front Desk Agent records a cleaning task for the unit, assigns it to the responsible staff member and marks it complete after the work. Property Manager confirms the cleaning inspection passed before marking the unit available for another stay.

    • Record assigned cleaning and return the unit to available after the inspection passes.
