Keys and references
Use each table’s own number or code to find a record, then use its reference field to follow the actual relationship. A matching name, venue or vehicle class does not replace a Booking or Vehicle reference. Check the linked records before importing historical charges, receipts or service tasks. The User reference on team members links staff assignments to an app user.
Migration order
- Prepare Users, team members, Customers and Vehicles with current identities and status.
- Load rate plans and read-only exchange rates as applicable.
- Bring in Bookings with correct customer and vehicle references.
- Attach rental charges, Payments, service tasks, ancillary bookings and ancillary charges to their Bookings.
- Reconcile sample rentals with the counter, fleet and finance teams before wider use.
