How a Click & Collect System rollout works
Set up a small catalog and rehearse a complete order cycle.
Map the first catalog
Choose the products, variants, currency and shipping choices that the pilot will use.
Prepare working records
Add customers, addresses, stock, payment methods, tax rates and discount rules needed for those cases.
Run an order
Follow a cart into an order, then review its lines, payment evidence and shipment.
Check exceptions
Rehearse a fraud review, a stock shortfall and a refund request with their responsible roles.
Expand deliberately
Add more products or channels after the team can trace each handoff from the original order.
What the customer provides
Bring current SKU and price data, catalog settings, stock balances, shipping choices and sample order history. Name the people who own merchandising, order service, warehouse work and commercial approval. If payment, carrier or email services are used, provide the service owner and reconciliation process.
Changing it afterwards
Review active products and shipping methods before changing them. Use a sample order to check that new pricing, tax or discount settings produce the intended records. Keep older order and payment evidence intact so service staff can still explain an earlier purchase.
