How a Clinic + Pharmacy + Lab rollout works
Set up patient identity, care evidence, and specialty handoffs in stages.
Confirm identity and access
Load people and users, check patient numbers, and rehearse the configured role permissions with a real staff member for each role.
Run the visit
Create a patient encounter, move it through arrival and care, and record a note and observation linked to that visit.
Check authority
Record a purpose-specific consent, clinician privilege evidence, and the patient's care-team assignment; agree who checks each.
Add specialty work
Record an encounter specimen and a medication dispensation using real accession and lot conventions.
Rehearse finance
Review a draft charge, approve it, and reconcile a patient payment reference with the clinic's financial process.
Review exceptions
Practice a cancelled visit, withdrawn consent, rejected specimen, escalated task, voided charge, and refunded receipt.
What the customer provides
Provide patient numbering rules, staff and user identities, visit and note naming conventions, consent purposes and versions, privilege verification procedure, specimen accession practice, medication and lot conventions, and billing references. Name the people who coordinate each handoff. Bring a representative case through the full visit and a separate exception case through review.
Changing it afterwards
Review the consequences before changing a status convention or an identifier shared with another system. Check existing patient and encounter links before migrating records. Keep earlier signed consent documents and privilege evidence associated with their dated decisions. Rehearse a change in the clinic’s working copy, then repeat the role and report checks before releasing it to staff.
