Create your account

Click Get started and use Proto to configure Cloud Cost Management for your business. Name the people who own your cloud account, service, cost center and change approval. Start with a small billing period that the team can reconcile to its provider source.

Prepare the first operating cycle

Register the account and service, agree the cost center rule, and load daily charges. Ask Cloud Operations Engineer to check the ingestion run and source freshness. Have Cloud Cost Analyst investigate one unusual line and record the incident with an assignee. If a saving action is suitable, prepare a change with a schedule and rollback plan.

Review before release

Have Change Approver record an approval or rejection with a reason. Check that the engineer can record the deployment outcome and that Finance Manager can compare the later amount with the expected baseline. Follow the implementation steps and role guide when adding more accounts.

Set up Cloud Cost Management your way.

Start free, then use Proto to change fields, steps and approvals before your team goes live.
