Mixed-use properties
A mixed-use property may book rooms, suites, venues and other spaces while also running restaurant or spa outlets. Resource records give each bookable space its own type, capacity and current condition. Reservation records show who is due to use it. Amenity bookings and charges can then be linked to a stay, so a shared-facility visit is visible in the context of the party that requested it.

Resource records give each bookable space its own type, capacity and current condition. Reservation records show who is due to use it. Amenity bookings and charges can then be linked to a stay, so a shared-facility visit is visible in the context of the party that requested it.
Begin with the spaces the property actually books and the outlet types it operates. Decide which facilities need a resource record for capacity and condition, and which visits belong in the amenities area of a stay. Keep codes and outlet names consistent. This helps the desk distinguish a bookable room from a restaurant visit when the same guest uses both.
Rehearse a booking for a venue with a known capacity, then add a restaurant visit to the linked stay. Property Manager reviews the reservation interval and resource condition. Front Desk Agent records the outlet visit and a service task for the space. Finance Officer prepares charges against the reservation and reconciles them with confirmed payment evidence. Finally, move the space through Cleaning after checkout. The exercise exposes any handoff where staff cannot identify the right reservation, outlet or assignee.
