Keys and references
Preserve Id values when mapping source records. Use readable identifiers such as SKU, lot code, record number, load number and license plate for operating review. Stock requests.item code and base unit are stored text alongside the Item reference; agree how those values are populated without replacing the reference.
Resolve a personal request filter through stock requests.Owner to team members.User and the authenticated account. Users.User is a self-reference that must be mapped consistently with platform identities. Operation key supports repeated action identity in operation receipts; source effect key identifies a posted stock effect. Keep Reverses pointed at the original movement.
Migration order
- Establish Users identities, Organizations and team members with their account and organization references.
- Load stock items and storage locations with item units, tracking modes and location eligibility notes.
- Load stock lots and allocation policies after their item, location and organization references are mapped.
- Create stock requests with the correct owner and locations; link supporting record attachments and temperature excursions.
- Load Loads and load stops, then handling units with their item and location references.
- Reconcile opening lot balances with historical reservations, decisions, movements and receipts at an agreed cutoff. Import historical evidence through the supported migration path while preserving operation identities and reversal references. Keep imported history from applying its stock effects again; use operating actions for new work after the cutoff.
