How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Commissary Kitchen Management for your business. Start with a few kitchens, their station capacities, clients, rate plans and one booking cycle from request through cleaning.
How is a booking confirmed?
Property Manager records the requested kitchen, interval and attendee count. Kitchen Coordinator checks capacity, kitchen status and overlapping intervals before changing the booking to Confirmed.
Can one client have several bookings?
Yes. Each booking references a client and a kitchen and has its own dates, rate and status. Charges, payments, add-ons and tasks can then follow the relevant booking.
How do rate plans relate to bookings?
Rate plans cover kitchen types, effective dates, slot rate and minimum slots. A booking holds the slot rate chosen for that specific interval.
Where do extra services go?
Food Service and Wellness Service add-on bookings link to the parent booking. Add-on charges are separate financial records linked to that booking.
Can staff track cleaning and maintenance?
Service tasks include Cleaning, Maintenance and Client Service types, with an assignee, due date and status. Kitchen status helps Property Manager decide when the space can be offered again.
How are payments tracked?
Finance Officer records each payment against a booking with amount, received date, reference and status. Confirmed receipts can then be compared with posted charges.
What happens when a payment is refunded?
The payment record can be marked Refunded. Finance Officer reviews the changed position against that booking’s charges and any other confirmed payments.
Who reviews operational evidence?
Operations Reviewer can inspect bookings, kitchens, charges, payments, add-ons and service tasks. Property Manager owns booking and kitchen decisions; Finance Officer owns financial records.
Can this connect to accounting and payment systems?
Yes, as part of setup. Agree how provider confirmations, references, posted charges and refunds map into your accounting process before relying on those connections.
