Connections and source mapping

• Intake source. Map partner case and community need fields into the program’s definitions; preserve source identifiers for comparison.
• Document source. Attach supporting files and retain an external reference when evidence originated elsewhere.
• Delivery service. Return provider references and receipts for the action taken on an approved case.

A source mapping records its version, field types, transform rule and effective date under a program. Test it with a representative source case before importing live requests. The program team should be able to trace a mapped value to the source record. For delivery, use the operation key and source revision to identify the approved action, then inspect provider acknowledgment before updating the case. An uncertain result belongs in reconciliation until someone has checked the external service.
