Who it's for

Public programs

A public program may fill quickly and involve several people working the registration and entry desks. The event's capacity, registration status and admission lines give the team a shared operating record. A reviewer can see the submitted registration and its source revision; admissions staff can see reserved quantity and actual arrival without treating them as the same event.

How Conference Management is set up for you

Capacity decision

Event Owner sets capacity before registration opens and routes material changes for review.

Submitted intake

Registration Coordinator keeps participant records under the correct parent event.

Independent review

Registration Reviewer approves or rejects submitted registrations with a reason.

Actual attendance

Admissions Lead records arrival once and keeps the prior reservation time intact.

A public program may fill quickly and involve several people working the registration and entry desks. The event's capacity, registration status and admission lines give the team a shared operating record. A reviewer can see the submitted registration and its source revision; admissions staff can see reserved quantity and actual arrival without treating them as the same event.

Pilot one program at an active venue. Agree how a registration's quantity maps to the people arriving and how staff identify the attendee reference. Submit a registration near the remaining capacity limit and have an independent reviewer decide it. The team should distinguish that approval from the later capacity reservation and provider capture verification.

At the door, rehearse a delayed response and a retry. Inspect the existing operation receipt and admission line before sending another action. After the program, Finance Reviewer compares admitted quantity with verified provider captures and checks each receipt whose result remains pending or needs review. If the program is cancelled after some participants have arrived, retain their admission history and treat refund evidence as a separate provider-confirmed effect.
