Event approval

Prepare event scope and record an independent decision before opening registration.

Step by step

  1. Draft event Event Owner

Event Owner selects the operating organization, venue, owner, dates and capacity, then checks the calendar for the intended time. Supporting files are attached to the selected event.

    • Sets event identity, schedule, capacity and ownership
    • Updates Events, Organizations, Venues, People
  2. Submit event for review Event Owner

Event Owner sends the current event revision into review. The reviewer receives the event's status and supporting context, including the venue eligibility note.

    • Moves the current event into review with its evidence
    • Updates Events, Record attachments
  3. Approve event Event Reviewer

Event Reviewer records a decision and reason against the submitted revision. An approval permits the owner to proceed; a return sends the event back for correction.

    • Records a decision on the source revision
    • Updates Events, Review decisions
