Who it's for

Specialty contractors

A specialty contractor often works on several defined scopes within a larger site. Construction Project Tracker can keep those scopes as separate work packages under the same project. Each package has its own owner, due date, budget hours and status. Its task lines give the coordinator a place to record planned and actual effort, while the certificate record carries the value submitted for review.

How Construction Project Tracker is set up for you

Defined scope

Give each package a subject and record number that identifies the trade work under the right project.

Field progress

Use task due and completion dates to show which line of work needs attention.

Submission trail

Keep certificates linked to the package and organization that own the work.

Independent decision

Have a Project Reviewer decide whether to approve, reject or return the current revision and explain the reason.

Exception follow-up

Inspect operation receipts marked failed or needing review before relying on a settled-looking outcome.

Begin with one project and the scopes that produce the next certificate submission. Have the App Administrator confirm the site address, project code and team membership. The Project Coordinator should make package subjects concrete enough that the reviewer can distinguish separate areas of work. Agree on the expected evidence type and whether each attachment is internal or shared. Decide who checks a task when its due date passes without a completion date.

A mechanical contractor, for example, might track equipment installation and testing as distinct packages. A package can contain task lines for the work actually being performed. The coordinator records completed lines and prepares a certificate for the relevant scope. The Project Reviewer reads the task progress and evidence before giving the coordinator a reasoned decision on the package revision. If the certificate is returned, the reason tells the coordinator what to correct.

The project tracker records certified values and the review trail. If the contractor needs payment, invoice or purchasing work, connect those records to the appropriate system and agree which approved certificate details will cross that boundary.
