How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Contract Lifecycle Management for your business. Start with a counterparty, template, clause set and one sample agreement.
What does the contract record hold?
It holds the agreement’s owner, legal entity, type, value, dates, terms and lifecycle status, with links to review and term work.
How are clause changes reviewed?
A redline records the proposed text against a contract clause. Legal Counsel records whether it is accepted, rejected or counter proposed.
Who decides an approval?
The named approver on a pending approval step records the decision, date and rationale. Agree the route before sending the agreement to approval.
Can we track signature progress?
Yes. An envelope record holds its provider ID, status, dates and executed document link. Check the provider result before recording the contract as active.
How do we track promises after signature?
Create an obligation linked to the active contract with an owner, due date, status and evidence link where needed.
How do renewals stay visible?
A renewal record holds the scheduled date, account owner, status and outcome. The Renewals & Obligation Risk page brings approaching renewals and past due obligations into one view.
Can related agreements be connected?
Yes. A contract can refer to a parent contract so a later agreement remains connected to the earlier one.
What should we prepare for a pilot?
Bring one current template, standard clauses, a legal entity, named approvers and the signing provider you intend to use.
