Accept a parcel scan

Step by step

1. Identify the event Dispatcher

   Dispatcher links the tracking number to the correct load and operating organization. Preserve the provider's event identity through the agreed connection so a repeated delivery can be recognized before another acceptance is attempted.

2. Check the evidence Dispatcher

   Validate the scan time, package weight and actual event type against the supporting physical evidence. Pickup, Sortation, Out For Delivery, Delivered and Exception describe parcel milestones; they do not replace the record's review status.

3. Submit the revision Dispatcher

   Move prepared Draft evidence to Submitted and freeze the current revision. Keep attachments and provider references available so the supervisor can inspect the same event the dispatcher presented.

4. Review parcel scan Transport Supervisor

   Transport Supervisor independently approves, rejects or returns the submitted revision with a reason. Reject self-review and stale source revisions. Returned evidence follows the authorized correction path and requires a fresh submission.

5. Accept the milestone Dispatcher

   Dispatcher executes eligible approved scope. Record Completed only after the accepted effects persist and match the reviewed revision. Return the existing outcome when the same event or equivalent request is repeated.
