Courts and case offices
A case office needs a reliable record of what arrived, who is responsible and how a recorded outcome was reached. Matters holds the case number, subject, organization, owner and stage. The event and attachment records preserve the detail a reviewer will inspect, while deadlines keep outstanding work assigned.

A case office needs a reliable record of what arrived, who is responsible and how a recorded outcome was reached. Matters holds the case number, subject, organization, owner and stage. The event and attachment records preserve the detail a reviewer will inspect, while deadlines keep outstanding work assigned.
Begin with one case office and a defined class of matters. Agree on the case number source, matter types and the policy references used at intake. Import active team members and test organization scope before assigning work. Choose a case that includes a supporting document, a due action and a review decision; it is a stronger rehearsal than an empty case with only a status.
Run a return decision through the whole team. The coordinator must see the reason and prepare corrected material. The reviewer then decides on the new revision. Review the state history to confirm both transitions are attributable, and check that a correction to an already delivered result creates a compensating deadline when needed.
If the office files or exchanges documents through a separate court system, agree which external acknowledgement proves delivery. Record its reference with the operation rather than assuming an attempted send succeeded. A failed or uncertain receipt should be investigated against that external source before a retry. The case office can then explain an outcome from the material reviewed through the recorded execution result.
