Keys and references

Keep record IDs stable when importing linked data. Use customer and organization codes for source matching, then resolve the actual references before importing quotes. The quote’s record number identifies the human-facing offer; its Revision identifies the state an action expects.

Keep review decisions.source revision and operation receipts.expected revision with their original evidence. The stable handoff key uses handoff:<quoteId>:<revision>. Users.User is a reference back to Users; verify how the target workspace resolves that platform identity during migration.

Migration order

  1. Access context. Resolve Users, then Organizations and team members with active membership and platform identities.
  2. Customer context. Import Customers with Organization references, active settings and eligibility notes.
  3. Commercial parents. Import Quotes with customer, owner, organization and validity references resolved.
  4. Quote scope. Import quote lines and automation nodes against the correct parent quote and revision.
  5. Retained evidence. Import record attachments, review decisions and operation receipts with original references and dates. Handle exchange rates through its read-only source.
