Keys and references
Use each table’s declared identifier and preserve reference targets during migration. Exchange rates uses ID; the business records use Id. Keep reference identifiers distinct from a customer code or quote record number.
Users.User references Users. Resolve user identities through the account setup before linking team members.User. Resolve Quotes.Owner to the appropriate active team members record, and Quotes.Counterparty to the customer in the selling organization.
Operation key identifies a guarded request. The handoff convention is handoff:<quoteId>:<revision>. Review decisions.source revision and operation receipts.expected revision support different evidence checks and must remain attached to their recorded action.
Migration order
- Prepare Organizations with their active state, currency and time zone.
- Resolve Users identities, then create team members with their organization and user references.
- Load Customers and check Organization, Active and eligibility note.
- Prepare Quotes with their organization, customer and owner references.
- Load quote lines and machine configurations against their parent quotes, preserving revision values.
- Link record attachments, review decisions and operation receipts without changing historical decision or action values.
- Verify the read-only exchange rates source and its effective dates separately from quote pricing.
