Click Get started, then use Proto to configure CPQ for Medical Devices for your business. Begin with a selling organization, an eligible customer and a representative device quote. Include requirement review, independent pricing approval and a downstream handoff rehearsal.

Record the device model, required date, unit count and training requirement for the quote and organization. Agree what the required date means before the specialist submits the requirement for review.

Pricing multiplies quantity by the USD unit price and subtracts the USD line discount. The line amounts sum to the parent quote’s net amount. Use the price-book revision and expected quote revision when submitting the request.

Pricing Reviewer makes the independent decision on the current priced revision. The quote owner cannot substitute self-approval, and App Administrator’s account-maintenance responsibility does not grant business pricing approval authority.

Quote Specialist follows the correction and pricing path with the requested change. The resulting current revision needs the appropriate independent review before the offer proceeds.

The requirement and quote have separate lifecycles. An approved or completed requirement records its own outcome and does not change the parent quote’s price and commercial status.

It records customer acceptance of an eligible approved quote revision with its accepted time and value. The downstream order handoff has its own result and evidence.

The handoff receipt remains Pending and does not contain an invented external order reference. Configure the destination and investigate the real outcome before treating the request as complete.

Quote attachments carry an Internal or Shared visibility choice, along with title, evidence type and uploader. Rehearse the intended access through the actual file link during setup.

Use the authorized correction process and a reviewer-approved compensating action where required. Preserve the accepted quote, prior decisions and operation receipts so the team can explain the original and corrected outcomes.
