Systems to connect
- Downstream order system. Configure the destination for Accepted quotes and immutable line scope. Map the customer and product codes, define the accepted revision and retain the actual external order reference in the operation evidence.
- Price-book source. Agree how the current price-book revision and USD line inputs reach the quote team. Test corrections and stale revisions before using an imported price in the review cycle.
- Document-signing service. Connect a signing service when the business requires one. Define how its result supports customer acceptance of the intended quote revision and which evidence belongs with the quote.
- Training delivery process. Arrange the external handoff when a device requirement includes training. Identify the responsible team and the meaning of the required date before passing the commercial expectation onward.
How connections are governed
Set the connection owner, secure credential storage and organization scope before enabling a destination. Test product identity, USD amounts and the downstream meaning of an accepted quote revision. Use the stable handoff operation identity to distinguish a retry from a new commercial request.
A missing connection leaves the handoff Pending. Investigate the actual downstream outcome before resolving a Failed or Needs review receipt, and never substitute a fabricated external reference. Reconciliation reads local evidence; a separate authorized action handles any correction or compensating work.
