How the model is organised
Customers and Organizations
Organizations owns Customers and team members. Team members.User identifies the signed-in account. Quotes references Organization, Owner and Counterparty.
Quote Preparation and Pricing
Quotes retains record number, Subject, Status, valid until, net amount USD, Revision, Version and price book revision. Quote lines references Parent and carries Quantity, unit price USD, discount USD, unit cost USD, net line USD and its own Revision.
Network Configuration Review
Network configurations references Quotes through Parent and Organizations through Organization. Frequency band, port count, license term months and required by describe the request; Revision, Status and decision at retain lifecycle context.
Quote Review and Acceptance
Review decisions references Parent and Reviewer, with source revision, Decision, decided at, Reason and operation key. Quotes retains accepted at separately from internal review.
Handoff and Reconciliation
Operation receipts references Parent and retains operation key, Action, expected revision, result state, occurred at, external reference, effect references and failure reason.
Evidence and Corrections
Record attachments references Parent and uploaded by. Title, evidence type, Visibility, uploaded at and File describe the evidence and its audience.
Reference currency information
Exchange rates holds effective rates and an override flag. Quote economics are explicitly stored in USD fields; agree conversion behavior separately.

Keys and references
The model contains 11 tables. Preserve record identities and resolve references before importing dependent data. Product code and price book revision are text values; connect their authoritative source during setup rather than assuming they reference a product or price-book record here.
Revision, source revision and expected revision serve different purposes. Quote preparation identifies the current revision, a decision identifies the revision reviewed, and an operation carries the revision it expects. Version is a separate field whose meaning must be agreed before migration. Do not substitute one for another.
Each operation receipt has an operation key. The accepted-quote handoff uses the stable identity for the quote and revision. A populated external reference must describe a real downstream effect. A reference field named Parent on a child record points to Quotes, not to another child record.
Migration order
- Accounts and organizations. Establish Users and Organizations before team members. Resolve each member’s User and Organization references.
- Customers. Import eligible Customers with their selling organization and contact context.
- Quotes. Import Quotes with the correct Counterparty, Owner and Organization, preserving lifecycle and revision facts.
- Commercial and network detail. Import quote lines and network configurations against their exact parent quotes.
- Evidence and decisions. Import record attachments and review decisions with the original uploader, reviewer and source revision.
- Operation history. Import operation receipts with their original keys and real effect references; do not turn uncertain history into completed outcomes.
- Reference rates. Load exchange rates through the agreed read-only reference-data procedure and preserve effective from and Overridden.
