• Product and price source. Agree where product codes, unit prices and the price-book revision originate. Reconcile the imported values before pricing and keep the source revision identifiable for the reviewer.
• Technical evidence source. Set up the handoff for the engineering material used to review frequency band, port requirements and license scope. The qualified technical team decides what evidence is sufficient for the equipment being offered.
• Downstream order system. Configure the destination for accepted quotes. Agree the returned external identity and the way an operator investigates pending or failed results. Keep the accepted quote revision identifiable at the destination.
• Customer communication channel. Agree how customer acceptance evidence reaches Quote Specialist and which attachments may be shared. A communication handoff and the recorded acceptance decision remain distinct events.

Give each connection a named operating owner and define its source identities. Test the organization boundary, quote revision and repeated requests before relying on the connection for routine quoting. Keep private connection credentials outside quote attachments and source content.

The accepted-quote handoff remains pending when its downstream connection is unavailable and must not fabricate an external reference. Agree how the destination prevents duplicate orders and supplies confirmation after a delayed response. Reconciliation examines the recorded evidence; the receiving system owner confirms an uncertain external outcome before the team retries or marks the handoff complete.

Agree how changes to an accepted offer are compensated at the destination. Preserve the original quote history and use a reviewed correction procedure for executed scope. Start with handoff and reconciliation when rehearsing that boundary.
