Correction and evidence

Correct authorized commercial scope without erasing the accepted quote or its supporting decisions.

Step by step

  1. Identify the affected scope Quote Specialist

    • Establish the revision and execution context
    • Updates Quotes, Quote lines, Operation receipts
  2. Prepare the correction evidence Quote Specialist

Quote Specialist attaches the relevant request and identifies the reason for the correction. Apply Internal or Shared visibility according to the intended audience and retain upload attribution.

    • Retain attributed supporting files with visibility scope
    • Updates Record attachments, Quotes, Team members
  3. Review accepted-scope compensation Pricing Reviewer

  4. Execute the eligible change Quote Specialist

    • Record the authorized correction attempt and effects
    • Updates Quotes, Operation receipts
  5. Verify the result Pricing Reviewer

Pricing Reviewer checks the operation evidence and any downstream discrepancy. Auditor reads the retained history without executing changes or manufacturing a completion outcome.

    • Updates Operation receipts, Review decisions, Record attachments

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Accepted lines are overwritten to make the original offer resemble the correction. Preserve the accepted history and follow compensation.
  • An attachment marked Internal is accessible through an unintended sharing route. Test access to the file itself.
  • The correction's downstream effect is assumed from a local status. Reconcile the recorded evidence before closing the follow-up.
  • Draft cancellation is applied to executed scope. Establish the lifecycle and effect history first.
