Lending operations

A lending operations team can use the case record to follow a borrower request from intake through independent decision and provider confirmation. The requested amount and purpose remain with the applicant and organization, while the reviewer decision identifies the revision considered. This gives staff a practical way to answer what was requested, who decided and what provider evidence followed.

How Credit Scoring Engine is set up for you

Application intake

Operations Manager records the applicant, amount, purpose and assigned person. Supporting files stay with the application.

Decision review

Credit Reviewer records approve, decline or refer with reasons and the source revision.

Provider follow-up

Operations Manager tracks the provider instruction and confirmation or settlement evidence before treating an effect as complete.

Audit trail

Auditor reads the application, decision and evidence without changing the case.

Start with one organization and a small set of real application cases. Use one ordinary approval, one referral and one decline. Check that each outcome is attached to the revision seen by the reviewer and that the preparer cannot approve their own submission. Add a provider event to the approved case, compare its reference and amount, and inspect the repayment and reconciliation records that follow.

A returning applicant is a useful test. Keep their identity stable, open a new application and confirm that the earlier request retains its own decision and provider trail. Agree who may correct applicant details and who may correct a submitted case. Decide how staff will investigate a provider event that references the wrong application instead of hiding the mismatch.
